Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced the first customer delivery of the all-new G800, marking the entry into service of the world’s longest-range business aircraft. The milestone follows FAA and EASA certifications received on 16 April 2025, with the aircraft outfitted at Gulfstream’s completions facility in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Mark Burns, Gulfstream president, commented, “We have seen astounding demand for the G800. We look forward to customers around the world experiencing the aircraft’s remarkable capabilities and cabin comfort.” He praised the Appleton team and Gulfstream’s 21,000 employees worldwide for delivering another next-generation aircraft.
The G800, recently awarded the 2025 International Yacht & Aviation Award for Private Jet Design, boasts the industry’s lowest cabin altitude of 2,840 feet (866 meters) at 41,000 feet, 100% fresh cabin air, a plasma ionization purification system and 16 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows. The interior can be configured with up to four living areas or three living areas plus a dedicated crew compartment, providing flexibility and comfort for long-haul flights.
Performance enhancements confirmed by the April certifications include a long-range cruise of 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 km) at Mach 0.85, high-speed cruise of 7,000 nm (12,964 km) at Mach 0.90 and an 8,000 nm (14,816 km) range at Mach 0.87. The G800’s maximum operating speed increased to Mach 0.935, up from Mach 0.925.
Gulfstream’s Appleton site supports the G800 with large-cabin completions operations, a custom-designed paint hangar capable of accommodating 48 aircraft annually and a modernized Customer Support maintenance, repair and overhaul facility. The delivery of the G800 underscores Gulfstream’s continued commitment to combining performance, comfort and innovation in the next generation of business jets.
