NAC Helicopters Cape Town – flipping the light fantastic

It’s peak season in the Cape which means an oversupply of local and international tourists flocking to the main tourist attractions across the region, from the winelands to the Atlantic Seaboard beaches and the V&A Waterfront.

Peak season means the helicopter operators operating out of the Waterfront are at their busiest with generally hot and clear weather over the season months and only the notorious south-easter to get in the way of flying operations.

One such operator is NAC Helicopters, which has recently unveiled a new showroom and lounge for the 2023/24 season. While Scully Levin was in the Cape presenting his book Bridging the Gap to flying schools and aero clubs in the area, he paid NAC a visit and spoke to senior pilot and social media manager Federico Chabrat.
