British Airways has signed and implemented an interline agreement with South African regional carrier CemAir that opens up connections to more destinations in South Africa through the airline’s gateways of Johannesburg and Cape Town. The partnership opens up onward connections to leisure destinations exclusively served by CemAir and popular with British travellers.

The arrangement between British Airways and CemAir includes the convenience of single ticket itineraries with onwards booking and baggage transfers from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Margate, Durban, Hoedspruit, Plettenberg Bay, George, Maun and the renowned Victoria Falls.

British Airways boasts the largest capacity into South Africa of any European carriers with double daily flights into Johannesburg and up to triple daily to Cape Town on some days during peak season. The carrier’s broad network of over 170 destinations can now be accessed more easily through this partnership.
