Saturday 3 June saw one of the highlights of the airshow calendar in the Vaal River town of Parys. The Parys Airshow in only two years, has become a favourite among the display pilots and the general aviation community for its accessibility, charm and unique programme.

It brings business to small town South Africa and creates an event that gets the entire community together, providing essential services and offering their small businesses to the crowds who attend. School children from local communities were given the opportunity to participate in the Youth Development Initiative, being exposed to careers on the aviation world.
