Safomar Aviation Operations (SAO) is a South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) certified Aviation Training Organisation (ATO 0385), offering comprehensive aviation operations with a diverse range of training services and a team of experienced instructors. Our staff is backed up by a fleet of impeccably maintained Aeroplanes and Helicopters that are suitable for a variety of applications. These include training from PPL through to ATPL, type ratings, conversions, and aerial operations for both Fixed-wing and Rotory-wing. The Academy offers required knowledge tuition through one on one and group ground school, as well as computer-based training designed to prepare students for all related examination services as well as flight assessments for all mandated training operations.
