Located at the CAE Madrid training centre near Barajas Airport, the simulator is the first of its kind serving Embraer CAE Training Services (ECTS) customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It delivers high-fidelity simulation with immersive classroom integration via CAE Simfinity technology and CBTA-based courseware.
The Madrid FFS becomes the second in the global ECTS network, complementing the existing E2 simulator in Singapore. It supports the fast-growing E2 fleet—celebrated for fuel efficiency and advanced avionics—with regionally accessible training that cuts travel time while boosting operational readiness.
“This simulator brings E2 training closer to our EMEA operators,” said Carlos Naufel, Embraer Services & Support CEO. “It’s a strategic move that aligns with our promise to stay close to our customers.” As the E2 family gains momentum globally, this new simulator anchors Europe’s role in shaping the future of efficient and sustainable regional aviation.
