Arrival and Departure Procedures:

ATC will be available on 127.95 from Thursday 12h00 till Saturday 18h00 (monitor 124.8 as well)

Outside these times unmanned procedures at FAMB will apply on 127.95

There will be a ground frequency in operation on 120.2

Arrivals & Departures on Runway 14 / 32

Taxiing will be on the runway if 14 is in use, backtrack procedures apply, wait at the intersection of 14/02 for suitable time to backtrack or as per ATC instruction should Runway 14 be in use.

Parking will be along 02/20 Gravel, follow me marshals will wing walk you to your parking spot during ATC hours of operation

Prior start-up contact ATC for departure procedures

During Speed Rally take-offs and arrivals, expect delays for departures, and we thank you for sitting tight during these activities.

Event Entrance and attendance:

Camping:

For those with their own equipment, camping on the Airfield is allowed free of charge. Alternatively, if you wish to camp on the Airfield but lack equipment, you have the option to rent a 1 or 2 sleeper tent. The Airfield provides showers and other facilities for campers. Catering:

We are thrilled to share the news that a new catering company will be overseeing our food services. Join us for a delightful Braai on Friday evening, where you can acquire braai packs with sides at the Aero Club Registration Gazebo on the Airfield. Braai fires will be provided for your convenience. Start your mornings right by purchasing breakfast from the Food Vendors on both Saturday and Sunday. For Saturday evening dinner, secure your tickets from the Aero Club Staff. Enjoy a Cash Bar along with snacks and lunch options from our food vendors throughout the event.

Braai packs (Club Steak, Chicken and Wors, Potato Salad, Greek Salad and Garlic Bread at R200.00 per pack)

Dinner Tickets will be sold at R230.00 per plate (Stuffed Chicken Breast, Roast Beef with Red Wine Gravy, Garlic and Herb Baby Potatoes and Roasted Root Vegetables)

Cashbar:

Cashbar will be available in the Hangar

Exhibitors:

The stand pricing is set at R1500.00 for the entire weekend and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the stands do not come with electricity, but exhibitors are welcome to bring their own extension cords. At this stage, there is no size limit for the stands. Application forms for exhibitors can be obtained by sending an email to sandra@aeroclub.org.za

Food Vendors:

Cobus Peens to be contacted for all Food Vendor applications by sending an email to cobus@middelburgaeroclub.com.

Fuel and technical;

Avgas:  R26.05 a litre VAT excluded.  Included = R29.95 a litre.

Jet A1:  R21.06 a litre VAT excluded.  Included = R24.22 a litre.

Mo-gas will be available. 

If a drastic change in price occurs, there will be a change of prices. 

An AME will be available at R650.00 (VAT excluded) per hour.

Jump start of any aircraft will be available at R100.00 per start.
