Bombardier Delivers First Global 8000 to Vista

Bombardier has delivered the first Global 8000 to Vista Global at London Biggin Hill Airport marking a significant milestone in the evolution of ultra long range business aviation.

The Global 8000 is now the fastest civil aircraft since Concorde offering a top speed of Mach 0.95 and an impressive range of 8,000 nautical miles. This combination allows operators to connect distant city pairs faster while maintaining the flexibility expected in business aviation. The aircraft also features the lowest cabin altitude in its class at just 2,691 ft helping reduce fatigue and improve passenger comfort on long haul missions.

For Vista this delivery marks the start of a broader fleet upgrade programme. The operator plans to convert its existing Global 7500 fleet to the Global 8000 standard at a steady rate of two aircraft per month. By year end all 18 aircraft are expected to be in service creating the largest subscription based fleet of this advanced type.

The enhanced performance of the Global 8000 translates directly into operational advantages. Increased speed and extended range allow for more direct routing reduced travel times and improved overall efficiency. Passengers benefit from a spacious cabin refined interior design and advanced onboard features designed to support productivity and rest during long flights.

The delivery also reinforces the strong partnership between Bombardier and Vista following a recent firm order for 40 Challenger 3500 aircraft with options for additional units. This continued collaboration highlights confidence in Bombardier’s product range and long term vision for business aviation.

As the Global 8000 enters service it sets a new benchmark for speed range and comfort positioning both Bombardier and Vista at the forefront of the next generation of business aviation.
